LINCOLNTON, NC - UCS, a U.S.-based manufacturer of high-performance athletic and facility equipment, has been selected again as an official equipment supplier for the 2025 Southeast Asian (SEA) Games, to be held in Bangkok and Chonburi, Thailand Dec. 9-20, 2025.
As one of the largest multi-sport events in the world, the SEA Games bring together more than 10,000 athletes from 11 nations across Asia. The games are under the regulation of the Southeast Asian Games Federation with supervision by the International Olympic Committee and the Olympic Council of Asia. UCS has been equipment provider to the SEA Games over 30 times since 1985.
For this year’s SEA Games, UCS will provide World Athletics-certified equipment for track & field, continuing its long legacy of powering international track and field competition at the highest level.
“This partnership underscores the trust global federations place in UCS craftsmanship,” said Zack Schwartz, Director at UCS. “From local schools to the Olympic Games, we engineer high performance equipment that helps athletes compete safely and at their absolute best.” “Every piece of equipment that leaves the UCS facility reflects decades of experience, pride, and precision,” said Mike Chappell, National Sales Director at UCS. “That’s what keeps the world’s top competitions coming back to UCS.
Outfitting elite-level competitions is not new to UCS. The North Carolina–based company is the only American manufacturer to be an official track & field equipment supplier to four Olympic Games, dozens of Olympic Trials, and countless international elite competitions, including the FIFA World Cup. All UCS products are built at the company’s 130,000-square-foot manufacturing facility outside of Charlotte, North Carolina, where engineers and fabricators design, weld, and assemble every piece of equipment by hand.
