UCS®Runway Systems - Development and testing have delivered a high-performing, durable and portable runway system. Aluminum C-channel forms the 4' (1.22 m) x 8' (2.44 m) base structure and has a leveling adjustment for complete stability and easy transitions. Welded wings enable each section to lock together with stainless steel hardware. Cross section supported by aluminum planking spaced effectively for ideal response and supporting the 3/4" wood infrastructure, ready to accept synthetic surface or a roll out runway. Specially designed and reinforced vault box section and LJ/TJ take-off sections are integrated into the system for additional support and durability.
