For turf fields, the installer brings the artificial turf over the edge of the box and uses the turf clamps to anchor it securely in place.
The top cover is locked in place by toggle locks.
The cover has a 0.25" aluminum plate and a 0.75" plywood layer.
The turf is secured to the plywood layer and then screwed to the aluminum plate.
The hand hole lids, manufactured with a 0.25" aluminum plate and a 0.5" plywood layer, are wrapped with turf and lock securely into the main cover.
During events, wires are passed through the wire chase on the cover openings, while the hand hole lids are in place.
Openings on the 712-1250 cover measure 6.25"x 8.125".
