Foam Construction, Stability Engineering & Surface Options
Oak Understructure with Dense Foam Padding: Constructed with a 0.75-inch oak understructure, covered in dense impact-reduction foam and upholstered in tough 38 oz. Boltaflex reinforced vinyl for durability and athlete safety in high-volume training. No Exposed Corners or Edges: Four primary pads plus four curved corner pads keep sharp contact points covered to help reduce common box-related injuries.
-
Reinforced Corner Construction: Each corner is strengthened with two stainless steel "L" brackets for added durability under repeated use.
-
Stack-and-Lock Raised Lip: Raised lip on all boxes supports modular stacking by allowing boxes to stack and lock for cleaner storage and more stable station setups.
-
Anti-Slip Bases On 24-Inch Box: The 24-inch box is bottomed with 0.75-inch high-density rubber for firm, stable footing during takeoffs and landings.
-
Recessed Stainless Steel Handles: Recessed handles on two sides make it easier to move and reset lanes without grabbing loose straps or vinyl edges.
-
Jump Height Variations: Choice of height: 6", 12", 18" and 24".
-
Surface And Facility Protection: For landing zones and traffic areas, pair with gym mats and protective padding.
Options for All Training Levels
Plyo-Safe Elite Plyo Boxes are typically purchased as a complete plyometric jump box height system for high-performance trianing rooms, then expanded based on traffic and training volume. College, pro and elite high school programs usually start with the full 6", 12", 18" and 24" progression so coaches can run progression-based training from teaching reps to max intent, then add duplicate boxes where the room bottlenecks.
-
Most Common Starting Point: Full height set (6", 12", 18", 24") to cover every athlete and every progression in one buy.
-
Base Level Demand: 24" is the anchor height in most weight rooms and is often the first box duplicated for advanced groups.
-
Team Jump Height Variations: Add extra 18" and 24" boxes to build multiple lanes and keep rotations moving during team lifts.
-
Development and Return-to-Play Support: Add 6" and 12" boxes later for warmups, teaching progressions and controlled landings.
-
Modular Stacking: Raised lip allows boxes to stack and lock so stations stay organized and stable during fast transitions.
-
Program branding: Custom graphic option on 12", 18" and 24" boxes for your team logo, athletics wordmark, mascot mark or school insignia.
-
Available in 9 Vinyl Colors: Custom colors and contrasting colors on center and corner pads also available.

Selecting Options Based on Height, Firmness & Space
Once a full plyo system is in place, performance comes down to how it is used on the floor. Firmness, spacing and stable placement determine whether athletes attack jumps with confidence or hesitate between reps.
-
Height Deployment: Assign lower boxes to warmups, teaching lanes and return-to-play work, with higher boxes reserved for max intent jumps and reactive sequences.
-
Firmness and Landing Quality: Fully padded surfaces help manage repeated contacts and reduce joint stress during high-volume plyometric training, helping coaches balance firm vs. soft surfaces based on athlete needs.
-
Spacing and Traffic Flow: Maintain clear run-ups and landing zones so multiple athletes can move through stations without crowding or rushed resets.
-
Room Stability: Anti-slip bases and consistent footprints matter in team environments where boxes are rotated, stacked and moved daily.
-
Programming Integration: Plyo jump boxes pair with strength training equipment and racks and platforms to support full power development, along with carts & caddies to keep training lanes moving effectively.
Individually Replaceable Pads: Each pad can be replaced to extend product life and keep the set looking professional through heavy daily use.
Warranty and Returns: Backed by a 1-year warranty on all padding. Plyo-Safe® equipment frame construction includes a limited 5-year warranty covering defective workmanship and materials. Warranty does not cover wear-through from normal use and does not include logo fade. Return policy: Only Blue and Black non-screened boxes are eligible for return.
