UCS Grand Prix Take-Off System - Used at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia and the 2001 World Championships in Edmonton, Canada. The Grand Prix Take-Off System meets the high standards and rules of the World Athletics and NCAA. The system consists of the foundation tray, blanking lid, take-off board and the plasticine insert.
Foundation Tray – Constructed out of 0.25” galvanized steel and reinforced by 0.25” galvanized steel angles. Take-Off Board – Manufactured out of 1/4” thick galvanized steel understructure with a 0.75” synthetic wood top and stainless steel adjusters, providing the perfect and legal fit.
The result… a board that won’t warp or deflect.
Blanking Lid – Manufactured out of 0.25” rust-resistant galvanized steel with stainless steel adjusters and 0.375” galvanized steel bars for extra reinforcement, the blanking lid is extremely stable while in place. Manufactured to accept 12mm of artificial surfacing.
Plasticine Insert – Our plasticine insert is fabricated out of 0.125” thick rust-resistant galvanized steel and synthetic wood with stainless steel adjusters.
